An area of St. Paul dedicated to creativity and enterprise; “…a place where people make a living by their creative capacities.” Take a day and explore the wonderful architecture of new construction beautifully meshed with the already well established. Play mini-golf at the celebrated Can Can Wonderland or imbibe at one of several craft brew houses! Truly, you will not be disappointed!

MINNESOTA AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSEUM & GALLERY

1256 Penn Ave N., Minneapolis

A new museum dedicated to the preservation and sharing of contributions made by African Americans in Minnesota. Participate in local events, has story hours and art classes for children, and is a terrific part of the Northside and African American community.

UPTOWN THEATRE

Originally opened as the Lagoon Theatre in 1916, the Uptown is one of the oldest surviving theatres in the Twin Cities. Enjoy the new upstairs bar, and sip a cocktail during your favorite film.
